Two out of four groups have found the teams to advance to the playoffs – WeMade FOX and mousesports finish top of their group, Alchemists and Evil Geniuses advance as second place teams.
Group A saw Evil Geniuses starting with a great victory against the Chinese powerhouse wNv, but when facing Korean domination force WeMade FOX, the American card house collapsed. The last matches should create drama. The teams was actually suppose to play all thirty rounds, but teams dropped when reaching sixteen rounds, and the organizers chose to just count the score when a team reached sixteen rounds.
Evil Geniuses got in to one hell of a fight against esq.wind, and was looking really bad after losing 11:4 first half. They did get back into the match and secured a comeback, winning 16:14. WeMade FOX surprisingly lost against wNv, which made two teams tie, being Evil Geniuses and wNv, but Evil Geniuses ended up advancing as they had a better round difference.

The Americans did however look a lot stronger with the addition of Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen, even with the loss to WeMade FOX, should be interesting to see their upcoming matches in the playoffs.

Group B had mousesports walking their way through without any problems, giving away a maximum of eight rounds to x. Alchemists finished second, with victories against KILLER and Speeder.
Groups C and D is about to begin, players are currently setting up. Group C should be the most interesting and we will have a keen eye on the matches as the progress. Remember that either fnatic, SK Gaming, WICKED or Immunity will be eliminated in the group stage, as only two teams can advance.
